The news is out: the Great Salt Lake is drying up! This essential body of water is vital to not only the climate and watershed of the State of Utah, but the entire Southwest. Without the lake, there is no snow, no spring runoff, no reservoirs used by Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California. There will be no biodiversity, and eventual ecological collapse.
This poster was created in Adobe Illustrator in an Art Deco style as an homage to old travel posters I've always admired. I modernized it with a message fitting of today's issue to spread education and awareness about our vital watershed.
